I was a product manager at a very promising start-up company when I was eventually laid-off during “tech winter” at the end of 2023. I had a very insightful conversation with my father, who is an executive coach. He made me realize that start-up companies, especially local ones, often maximize their resources on money flow, thus they rarely invest in its people.
Ever since then, I am determined to create impacts by helping local companies to be more sustainable through empowering the people behind them.
